Story

Born in Hungary and shaped by life across Algeria and Mexico, Csilla brings a rich, global perspective to her design philosophy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Texas at Austin, then sharpened her creative edge with an Associate Degree in Fashion Design in New York City.

Her early career included design roles at Nautica, Liz Claiborne, and Macy’s Merchandising Group, where she honed her skills in both style and structure.

In 2007 in New York City, she launched her own fashion line named CsillaWear, a brand built on intentional design, craftsmanship, and a commitment to thoughtful creation.

In 2010, Csilla opened a boutique in TriBeCa, Lower Manhattan, a deeply fulfilling experience that allowed her to connect with the local community and witness firsthand how people responded to her designs. It was a meaningful affirmation that her creative voice had a purpose, her work resonated and sparked genuine interest

In 2011, Csilla set out on a solo backpacking journey through Southeast Asia, spending four transformative months finding beauty in cultures, moved by art, textiles and traditions that was a reminder that across the world people are not only kind and generous, but deeply inspiring in their own unique ways. After a decade in the city, she was ready for a change. In 2011, she returned to Austin with a renewed focus, ready to continue developing her brand while also beginning a new chapter: starting a family.

In 2012, she opened her namesake boutique at 504 Congress Avenue in downtown Austin. This became a defining era, both personally and professionally. Running the shop while raising two young children, often right there beside her, was both rewarding and grounding. Surrounded by a brilliant, capable team, Csilla grew the brand into a thriving in-house production line that resonated deeply with visitors and locals alike. The boutique became not just a retail space but a creative hub, complete with fashion shows and a loyal community of supporters.

In 2022, after a decade of success, Csilla made the difficult decision to close the boutique, not by choice, but due to a change in building ownership and purpose. She took a step back, prioritizing motherhood and working closely with a small, devoted group of private clients.

Now, Csilla is entering a new chapter: developing a teen line, and expanding her platform to include two of her lifelong passions: travel and wellness. These themes, rooted in her personal journey, will be thoughtfully woven into her evolving brand and online experience.

We believe sustainability is not a trend, but a responsibility to the planet, to each other, and to future generations. Through ethical practices, mindful materials, and circular thinking, we’re building a future where style and stewardship go hand in hand.
